2018 SBI PO 2018 Exam Center
While filling in the application form for SBI PO 2018,
candidates will be given a choice to select the exam center of their choice.
Candidates are allotted the center on the basis of their choice made and the
preferance in which they select the exam centre. However, due to unavailability
of seats in the selected exam center, SBI can allot a different center to the
candidate.
SBI PO 2018 Exam Pattern
The SBI PO Exam is conducted in 3 phases. The written exam
is - Prelims & Mains which are conducted online, followed by an interview
round. The structure of exams is as follows:
Phase-1: SBI PO Preliminary Examination
This is an online exam where candidates have to solve the
question paper in hour for 100 marks. The test comprises of 3 sections and
candidates must clear the cut-off for each section. The section-wise

Phase-2: SBI PO Mains Exam
This test has 155 questions that have to be answered in 3
hours. The paper is divided into 4 sections - Reasoning & Computer
Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking
Awareness and English Language.

Descriptive Test:
The Descriptive Test has a duration of 30 minutes with a
score of 50 marks. This test is conducted to test the writing skills of
candidates via Letter Writing &
Essay Writing.
Penalty for Wrong Answers:
The penalty for wrong answers Objective Tests of both
Preliminary and Mains exams is 0.25 marks. There will be no penalty for leaving
a question blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate.
Phase-3: Group Exercise & Interview
The aggregate marks of all the candidates clearing both the
Objective Tests and Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in
each category. The decided number of candidates in each category, as governed
by the Bank will be called for Group Exercises and Interview. The qualifying
marks in Group Exercises & Interview will be as decided by the Bank. Group
exercises account for 20 marks while Interview is for 30 marks.
Final Score Calculation for SBI PO Exam:
The final score for the SBI PO exam is calculated keeping the
below points in mind:
Marks secured in the Preliminary Exam (Phase-1) will not be
considered for selection
Candidates must qualify Phase-2 and Phase-3 separately to be
eligible
Marks secured by the candidates in the Mains Exam (out of
250 marks) are converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Exercises
& Interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25. This makes the
new total score (Mains + GD/PI) to be 100
The aggregate score out of 100 is used for the final merit
list for each category. Candidates with top merit rank in each category are
finally selected.

SBI PO 2018 Eligibility
A candidate is required to fulfil basic two requirements to
be eligible for SBI PO 2018 Exam. A candidate is required to fall into the
required age limit for the exam. The minimum educational qualification for SBI
PO 2018 exam is that of a graduate in any discipline from a recognized
university.
Age of the applicant must not be more than 30 years as of
1st April 2018 and not less than 21 years as of April 2018 for SBI PO 2018
Exam. That means that the candidate must not be born before 02.04.1987 and must
not be born after 02.04.1996.
SBI PO 2018 Admit Card & Call Letter
The admit card for SBI PO 2018 Exam will be released for
each phase of the examination being conducted for the recruitment process.
Admit Card for Preliminary Exam is released first followed by SBI PO Mains Exam

The result for SBI PO 2018 will be released after the

Clerk, and specialist position which they conduct yearly. The willing,

online and usually in three phases.

Requirement for SBI PO Application
Many people would wish to register with SBI PO application,
but not everyone has the opportunity to register. Only qualified candidates can
apply. The requirements are;
Age
Only young professionals of age 21 to 30 years old are
eligible to apply for the SBI PO.
Educational Qualification.
The candidates should have at least a minimum of a degree
from a recognized university. There is no limitation on performance percentage
in the degree level.
CIBIL Status
A new eligibility rule has been introduced which looks into
the credit status of the applicants. Only the candidates with a satisfactory
credit score can apply for the position SBI PO. Loan defaulters and those with
poor credit history don’t get a chance to apply for the position.
To understand the exam competition the candidates can use
the cut off marks and scores. The candidate should study the cutting marks to
understand how SBI selects its candidates. The other thing is to know the exam
patterns together with the exam syllabus, improve analytical reasoning and
verbal skills. This will help the candidate to prepare adequately.
Important Points to be Noted
Candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfill the
eligibility criteria i. e. Age as on 01.04.2018 and Educational Qualification
as on 01.07.2018
Application Fees/ Intimation Charges can be paid via Online
Mode through Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards,
Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
Online registration will be complete only after the
candidates register online and remit the requisite application fees/ intimation
charges either through online mode. Bank also reserves the right to allot the
candidate to any of the Centre other than the one he/she has opted for.
Admission to Online test (Preliminary & Main) will be
purely provisional without verification of documents. Ineligible candidates
will not be allowed for interview. In case at any stage the candidate is found
not to fulfil the eligibility criteria/ cannot produce the requisite documents
to Bank the candidature of the candidate will stand cancelled.
Application printout & fee receipt should be kept with the
candidate and should not be sent to the Bank
Please note that all the particulars mentioned in the online
application including Name of the Candidate, Category, Date of Birth, Address,
Mobile Number, Email ID, Centre of Examination etc. will be considered as final
and no change/modifications will be allowed after submission of the online
application form.
Candidates are hence requested to fill in the online
application form with the utmost care as no correspondence regarding change of
details will be entertained. Bank will not be responsible for any consequences
arising out of furnishing of incorrect and incomplete details in the
application or omission to provide the required details in the application
form.
Not more than one application should be submitted by a
candidate. In case of multiple applications, only the last valid (completed)
application will be retained and the application fee / intimation charges paid
for the other registrations will stand forfeited. Multiple attendance/
appearance by a candidate in examination and/ interview will be summarily
rejected/ candidature cancelled.
